Customer Testimonials
Take a look at what some of our customers have said about our services in Cornwall & Devon
My wife and I are delighted with how well David cleaned the very stained exterior of our end-of-terrace house in Camborne. He replied promptly to emails, arrived on time, finished in good time, and charged an excellent price. His attention to detail was thorough, and while he was there he kept us informed about how the job was going. Highly recommended!

I phoned SECS for a quotation to have my gutters cleaned and within an hour Dave from SECS came out to survey the work to be done. He gave me a competitive price so I asked him to complete the work which he was able to do immediately. I am very satisfied with the thoroughness of the work carried out and the high standards that he achieved. I will be using him again and would have no hesitation in recommending him to other potential clients.

I contacted David by phone and he was fast to respond with a visit and written quotation. He then carried out the work outside of our businesses operating hours to ensure it had zero impact for us. A fantastic job overall and a pleasure to do business with.

Redruth Amateur Operatic System has a set of rehearsal rooms which are over 100 years old. In recent years, we have had issues with the amount of moss growing on the roof and being dislodge and blocking the guttering causing water to flood into our neighbours properties. The roof has a surface area in excess of 600 sq.m.
David was approached for a solution to this and he suggested that the roof is scraped and a biocide used to prevent further moss build up. David explained that some companies would pressure wash the roof, but in this, that would damage the slates.
We engaged David, and once the scaffolding went up, he started, more or less straight away. We did have some bad weather, so, for safety reasons, worked around the heavier weather. The cleaning took about a week to accomplish and we are very pleased with the outcome. He also spotted a couple of issues with our guttering, he was able to remedy for us.
David has such a great work effort, neither myself, nor Redruth Operatic, would hesitate to contact him for future works. We cannot recommend him highly.

David has done a fantastic job on cleaning Spar Dash on the house we have just purchased. The house looked sad and unloved. Now it looks 100% better and it looks cared for again.
Many thanks for doing such a good job.

David carried out a thorough cleaning of my concrete roof tiles, quickly and with a minimum of fuss; amazing results. Grateful also for the advice about roof condition and suggested remedial works. I would have no hesitation in recommending SECS to others and would happily use this company again.

Did some on-line research into the pebble-dash staining on the exterior of the self-build we completed almost 25 years ago. The red and black weeping in between the white marble spar chippings was becoming more apparent and definitely impacting our home’s kerb appeal. My research for a professional who could deal with the issue in Cornwall led me to David of SECS. I must say now that the work is done my wife and I could not be more pleased with the results which totally exceeded our expectations. The exterior of our house has been totally rejuvenated. Great job David, money well spent, thank you.

We found S.E.C.S online. David came down to price our job and offer sound professional advice. On the day of the job S.E.C.S turned up earlier than agreed so he could get set up ready to start at the agreed time. David did the job, which was very messy and unpleasant, with a smile on his face all the way through, nothing was too much trouble for him. The quarry would not hesitate to use S.E.C.S again or recommend him to others. Castle Quarry Penzance

Just a note to say thank you for the excellent job you did on our patio despite the appalling weather the other day. Now that it has all dried out I can see what an enormous difference it has made.

David from S.E.C.S has recently undertaken the cleaning of our properties which included washing walls, guttering, down pipes & fascias to a high standard. We would highly recommend S.E.C.S. for his time management, quality of work & professionalism. It gave us peace of mind knowing all risk assessments for the properties had been undertaken, prior to starting and HSE compliant.

David undertook a thorough and extensive clean of our roof and gutters removing a considerable amount of moss. He worked quickly, using professional equipment and left the roof looking like new. Further to this he did a great job in clearing up all the mess and left the outside area looking a lot cleaner than when he started! On top of that he also very kindly noted a faulty roof tile which he fixed and removed a redundant TV aerial, saving us the hassle of finding another trades person. I highly recommend David and his services, he was faultless.

David recently cleaned the exterior of our Western Red Cedar Home and it looks fabulous! Living in a woodland valley near the sea the exterior wood needing cleaning and treating. David completed the job efficiently and was extremely knowledgeable on the whole process and explained every step to us. David's customer service was second to none and we would recommend him and will use him again as needed. Thank you!
