How to clean red stains on render

Clean red stains on render.

With modern render the surface is porous and soft. All properties look amazing when first built and the render substrate has been apply. The product has been sold as maintenance free which is totally untrue due to the British weather which is a very wet climate.

Properties with shaded rendered walls, close to trees and walls will be affected the most. Walls that always stays wet and never dry out will be affected the most.

Green algae is the first most common algae that will appear on the render surface. In due time red algae will start to appear which is Trentepohlia.

Red staining on render will rapidly spread across the wall surface due to being so porous. Trentepohlia can damage the surface of the render substrate if left and not cleaned by a professional render cleaner.
